The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra is delighted to inform you of the Summer Season of our esteemed World Symphony Series (WSS), which will take place at the Linder Auditorium from 27th February to 20th March each Thursday evening.
The Summer Season 2025 showcases debut performances and the return of familiar faces. We welcome popular conductors Daniel Boico and Bernard Gueller, and the debut appearance of Mark Kadin, whose performances have been described as ‘an enchanting dialogue between the mind and emotions’.
The Summer Season soloists include violinist Mayumi Kanagawa, pianists Leo de Maria and Gustavo Romero, as well as the final concert featuring the trio of Miro Chakaryan (violin), Anmari van der Westhuizen (cello) and Ben Schoeman (piano). Programmes will include all-time favourites and magnificent works by Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Haydn, Tchaikovsky and more.
